FAQ's?
- How many times can I apply to receive a bag of groceries?
-We will try to match people as frequently as needed based on how many donors we have. We will prioritize people who have never had a donation first.
- How much should I spend on a bag of groceries?
-We suggest $25-$35; however, please stay within your means or give whatever you'd like!
- How do I get matched?
-You will get a text message from one of the organizers with your recipient information and their asks. You don't have to meet every ask, but it's great if you can meet some of them.
- I only want to give/receive prepared meals.
-Most people prefer groceries, but if you only want to give/receive a prepared meal, there's a space to indicate that.
- Are there any requirements?
-You have to live in Allston/Brighton. No ID checks.
- How many times can I give or receive?
-As many times as you like; we'll just match people who haven't received a donation first.
- How do you protect my privacy?
-When you fill out the form, you can put any name you like. Only the organizers will see your information. Then your donor will only receive a text with your name, number, and whatever address you'd like for drop off (home/place in the community). You can coordinate your drop off directly with your donor/recipient.
