HBS Club of NY Programming
Mission and Community Values
The Mission of the HBS Club of New York is to Make a Difference and to support Harvard Business School by engaging alumni, impacting community, and fostering leadership and lifelong learning.
The Programming Division strives to present credible, thought provoking speakers who help our alumni to grow as leaders and as individuals.
We welcome all points of view and events that are consistent with our principles and Harvard Business School’s Community Values (
https://www.hbs.edu/about/campus-and-culture/Pages/community-values.aspx). In panel discussions, we encourage vigorous debate and will balance opposing views with an objective moderator.
Event Proposal Submissions
Thank you for being an active HBS Club of NY volunteer! As a standard practice, to submit an event, please complete this form which will be sent to the Co-VPs of Programming for approval (mailto:
programming@hbscny.org and Barrie Moskowitz
bmoskowitz@hbscny.org). The team will respond within 48 business hours.
The first available event dates are usually 8-10 weeks after the event proposal is approved. Keep in mind, the event write up needs to be submitted 5-6 weeks prior to the event date to allow adequate time for marketing and inclusion in our email (first event notices are sent 4 weeks prior to the event date).
Reminders:
A submission is not a guarantee of approval. All speakers and topics must be approved by the Programming Sector Leads and Committee.
Please complete the event proposal as early as possible (5-6 weeks prior to the event date) to allow adequate time for marketing and inclusion in our email (first event notices are sent 4 weeks prior to the event date).
