The authors of the National Delegates Council proposal submitted some small changes to the final version of the NDC proposal. The Resolutions and Platform committee accepted some, but chose not to accept two lines about weighted voting.
On the first day of convention when we are adopting the agenda, we will make a motion to add
the amendment adding weighted voting in to give delegates a chance to debate and vote on it. Constitution and bylaws changes are given one full hour for debate, which should allow time for an amendment to be discussed. We are collecting pledges to let people know in advance the motion is coming.
