Establishing good public speaking skills is crucial to a variety of tasks. Whether it is a presentation or a discussion, confidence in public speaking is essential to the successful communication and persuasion of your thoughts and ideas.
Two different class will be available to students:
1. Public Speaking Class
Students will be challenged to speak on the spot, trained to deliver effective speeches, and taught the art of effective communication. Students will learn the skills needed to excel in interview situations that can be used for future internship, college, and job interviews.
* No experience necessary.
2. Business Speaking [ FBLA/DECA Summer Camp ]
Students are challenged to speak without preparation, tested to expand their thought process, trained the art of thinking outside the box and taught multiple types of public speaking that are utilized in the real world environment. Students will be prepared to compete in competitions such as FBLA and DECA, allowing them to excel at regional, state, and international competitions.
*No public speaking experience is necessary but recommended.

Understanding the intricate world of business is crucial for success in the modern world. Regardless of the field of work one enters, an understanding of business allows one to reach new heights. There is no limit to how early one can begin their business endeavors
But business is a very broad topic, and many don’t know where to begin. Students who enroll will be introduced to the world of business and business clubs such as FBLA and DECA. Students will build a strong understanding of the basics of business while also polishing their public speaking skills. Covering a wide range of topics such as how to come up with a business entrepreneurial plan to case competitions, students will also be prepared to compete in FBLA or DECA business competitions in high school. They will be immersed in the world of business with other students who also inspire to create change through business.
