Jai Jinendra! We're thrilled that you're interested in becoming more involved in YJA. Whether you're a YJA veteran or a first-time YJA-er, we are excited to have you join the family and will help find the right role for you. The following is a common application for a variety of roles within YJA. You can apply for one or more of the teams described below:
- Local Representatives help plan and host events including regional retreats, assist with outreach to new members in their region, act as a liaison to the local Jain Center/Sangh, and more! As such, we entrust the Local Representative with being the face of YJA in their community.
- Committees assist Directors with their respective functions on the YJA Executive Board and help develop new and support ongoing initiatives. There are many teams that you can apply to in this application, including: Education, Community Relations, Marketing, and Technology.
- Project Teams work with the Director of Project Development as well as different Executive Board members to ideate and execute specific initiatives. Currently, we are opening applications for College Chapters, Jains in Action, and YJA Seva.
