2025 Summer Orchestra Camp Sign-ups
Do you wish we played MOVIE MUSIC, POP MUSIC, or "RADIO SONGS" in orchestra this year? Sign up for the Galvin Summer Orchestra camp where you will make new friends, play fun genres of music, eat ice cream, and have a fun week of string playing with Ms. Bowen!

This is a one-week program providing an opportunity to have fun playing different types of music in a mixed-level environment. With the assistance of both professional music staff and a select group of high school string players, you will rehearse in full ensemble and smaller group settings. The Summer Orchestra will be run by Ms. Sarah Bowen, GMS Orchestra Director.

When: July 7th to July 11th from 8:00-11:30am
Concert for family and friends will be Friday, July 11th at 11am.

Where: GMS music wing

Payment: $165 per student; Checks must be made out to "Wakefield Public Schools" (includes tuition, camp t-shirt and any additional materials). Give checks to Ms. Bowen at GMS.

*All orchestra students who were in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2024-2025 school year may join! Yes, incoming 9th graders may join!*
