As part of the Governor’s order suspending in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, all school districts in the state are currently drafting plans to ensure a “Continuity of Learning” for all students that will begin soon. At BCPS, we want parents to know that although our school buildings may be closed, LEARNING WILL BE OPEN!
While details of our full plan will not be ready until early next week, parents and students can anticipate that teachers will begin providing consistent and structured remote learning experiences for students at all grade levels beginning the week of April 20th. To ensure students have access to technology as a way to stay connected, we are reopening our signup for Chromebook checkout.
Keep in mind that most applications and data on Chromebooks resides in the cloud and therefore requires an internet connection to use. If concerned about internet connectivity, we want to try and help. Please email us at
remotelearning@bcschools.net and share your technology challenges as we all prepare for the shift to remote learning. Emails will be responded to by a member of our team to help identify supports available through the schools or our community.
