2019 Herbstalk Vendor Application
Thank you for your interest in being a part of our herbal marketplace at Herbstalk 2019, taking place on June 1st & 2nd at the Armory in Somerville, MA!

➵ All vendor applications are due no later than February 15, 2019. We will not be able to accept submissions after this date.

➵ Our marketplace offers high-quality handmade herbal and botanical products with an emphasis on locally made goods, whole-plant products, and education.

➵ We are a producers' market: please do not plan to sell or represent products other than your own.

➵ The Herbstalk Marketplace will be open Saturday, June 1st from 10:00am to 6:00pm; and Sunday, June 2nd from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

➵ Please bring your own table; chairs will be provided. NOTE: only one table 6 - 8 ft. long table is allowed per vendor. L-shaped set-ups cannot be accommodated.

➵ Total booth space (including ALL tables and materials) is no larger than
*** 8' wide x 4' deep ***. Due to space constraints all vendors MUST adhere to these dimensions. Please do not plan to have an L-shaped set-up. Only one table allowed per vendor. We recommend a 6' long table maximum in order to fit comfortably.

➵ Vending fees* vary by booth location (please refer to map below):
$120 for upstairs spots on the mezzanine
$160 for main floor spots

* We strive to make our marketplace open to all. If the vending fee is prohibitive for your business please contact us so we discuss a sliding scale. Additionally, check out our September event, The Harvest Festival, which has a lower vending fee.

➵ Community Partners will be given priority placement and the option to have a larger booth space in the marketplace. Please inquire if interested.

➵ In addition to the necessary food permits needed to serve food & beverages in Somerville, ALL food & beverage vendors must complete a Temporary Food Permit application ($25 fee) for this event upon acceptance. This also includes vendors who give free samples, and/or sell ANY consumable products such as teas, tinctures, elixirs, etc. We will send you further details to obtain the Temporary Food Permit and can help guide you through the process.

➵ Applications must be submitted no later than February 15th to be considered. If your application is approved we will be in contact to arrange vendor fee payment.

➵ Due to the large number of submissions, we regret we cannot accept all applications. We also cannot guarantee that if you have participated at Herbstalk in the past that you will be automatically accepted to the market, as it is important that we vary our vendors from year to year. Likewise, due to space constraints applicants will unfortunately not be able to both vend AND teach, with the potential exception of Community Partners.
