HAND APPLIQUE--Any size quilt that is primarily HAND APPLIQUE and QUILTED by ANY METHOD.

MACHINE APPIQUE--Any size quilt that is primarily MACHINE APPIQUE and QUILTED by ANY METHOD.

SMALL QUILT-PIECED. 59" or less on longest side. Primarily PIECED and quilted by any method.

STATIONARY MACHINE QUILTED-PIECED-MEDIUM & LARGE-60" or longer on the longest side. Primarily PIECED by Hand or Machine. QUILTED on a STATIONARY MACHINE (includes Domestic Sewing Machines and machines NOT mounted on a track.)

MANUAL LONGARM-PIECED-MEDIUM--60" to 79" on the longest side. Primarily PIECED. QUILTED on a MANUAL (hand guided) LONGARM MACHINE (track mounted.)

MANUAL LONGARM-PIECED-LARGE--80" or larger on the longest side. Primarily PIECED. QUILTED on a MANUAL (hand guided) LONGARM MACHINE (track mounted.)

COMPUTERIZED LONGARM-PIECED-MEDIUM--60"-79" on the longest side. Primarily PIECED. QUILTED on a COMPUTERIZED LONGARM MACHINE (track mounted.)

COMPUTERIZED LONGARM-PIECED-LARGE--80" or larger on the longest side. Primarily PIECED. QUILTED on a COMPUTERIZED LONGARM MACHINE (track mounted.)

NOVICE QUILTER-Any quilt made by a quilter who has never entered a quilt show and has been quilting 3 years or less. Quilt may be any size, any construction technique, and quilted in any manner.

YOUNG QUILTER Age 12 and Under--Any quilt constructed by a young quilter age 12 and under.

YOUNG QUILTER Age 13-17--Any quilt constructed by a young quilter age 13-17.

ART QUILTS--Mixed textiles, original patterns, and stitchless applique.

QUILTED ITEMS--Quilted items such as bags, totes, quilted garments, etc. No quilts may be entered in this category.

VINTAGE QUILTS/DISPLAY ONLY--Quilts entered in this category will not be judged.

I agree to permit the GBQG to display my entry at the CR Legacy Event Center, May 1-2, 2026. I grant GBQG the right to photograph and post pictures of my entry. I understand that reasonable care will be given to protect my entry. I understand that NO responsibility for loss or damage to my entry can be assumed by GBQG and/or CR Legacy Event Center.

NON-MEMBERS ENTRY FEE: $10.00 per quilt. Because we have limited space, entries from non-members will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If your entry is not accepted, you check will be returned. Applicable fees may be mailed to:

Please include your name and the names of the quilts you have entered.

Bring quilts to the CR Legacy Event Center, 2205 W. Main (Hwy 334), Gun Barrel City, TX between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Each quilt MUST have a sleeve on the back for hanging. The sleeve must be one solid piece, not multiple pieces of fabric. Any permanent quilt label with the name of the quilt maker must be temporarily covered. Each quilt must be in a pillow case. The pillow case MUST be labeled with your name and the name of the quilt. Pick up quilt on Saturday, May 2 between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM. Please wait for your quilt in the designated waiting area.

Entries previously judged in a GBQG show will not be accepted for judging in this show. All drop offs and pick ups are required to be in person unless arrangements have been made in advance with Stephanie Geneva of the GBQG.
