The Superintendent must complete the following application form. Applications for the 2026-27 school year are due May 15, 2026. Not all districts that apply may be selected to participate in Cohort 1; space is very limited. Selection criteria include a balance of representation across the six Regional Education Service Centers (RESCs): https://www.rescalliance.org/about.

Attendance at the 2-Day SCALE Institute on September 14-15, 2026, is MANDATORY for the individuals (maximum of 3) that the Superintendent nominates from their district to participate. So too are monthly, virtual 1-hour webinars (October 2026 - June 2027). Days and times for the monthly webinars will be selected with participants. Also, all Superintendents will need to agree to participate in quarterly 1-hour virtual webinars. These webinars will focus on how Superintendents can support SCALE coaches in sustaining and spreading this work in the district.

Please DO NOT complete this form before confirming with those you plan to nominate that they can attend the Institute and attend monthly, virtual 1-hour webinars. We recommend nominating individuals for roles such as instructional coaches, teacher leaders, or assistant principals.
