Application for Membership - City of Austin Pedestrian Advisory Council (PAC)
The Pedestrian Advisory Council (PAC) advises the City of Austin on pedestrian planning, policy, design, funding, education and enforcement efforts regarding the creation, maintenance and operation of pedestrian facilities.

The PAC is composed of 9 full (voting) members and up to 10 alternate (non-voting) members. For more information, please refer to the PAC bylaws available on the PAC webpage: https://www.austintexas.gov/department/pedestrian-advisory-council

Meeting agendas typically consist of briefings from staff and guests on pedestrian or mobility related projects and plans, discussion of local and regional projects and plans related to pedestrian mobility, creation and passage of recommendations, and public participation. Applicants are encouraged to attend at least one PAC meeting prior to the elections on October 1, 2018.

The content of your application will be distributed electronically to all current PAC members. Private information (emails, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) will be redacted by City of Austin staff. Elections will be held on October 1, 2018. All applicants will be invited to this meeting to briefly address the voting members beforehand.
