We are seeking your input to be considered by the Nominating Committee during its deliberations. However, according to procedures your suggestions and supporting information are advisory only. You do not need to sign your name; all information will remain confidential. You may nominate yourself or someone else, and you must be a current paid member to be elected to a position. An explanation of the elected position is listed below and a recommendation form is attached. In accordance with our by-laws, a person may not hold the same elected position for more than two years and each of these positions are elected each year.
President: Oversees all positions on the board, discusses information with the board, heads all meetings and must attend monthly Council meetings.
1st Vice President: Assists President and is in charge of PTA membership. When the President is unavailable may act on the Presidents behalf.
2nd Vice President: Oversees all volunteers and assists President when 1st VP is unavailable.
Recording Secretary: Takes minutes of each meeting, records and reads the prior minutes at all meetings.
Corresponding Secretary: Receives and reports all correspondence at each meeting. E-mail all board meeting notices, and sends out letters and cards.
Treasurer: Maintains and records all bank transaction, bank statements, writes and submits checks, reports current balances and keeps record of current budget at all meetings.
