Chicago Artists Resource Mobilization
Artists Resource Mobilization formed to provide paid work for filling the need for supplemental PPE during the early days of the Covid-19 crisis. We are working with recipients in the medical industry or underprivileged communities to make sure our garments meet their needs.
ARM is a project of Apparel Industry Foundation, Inc, a 501c3 organization that works with fashion designers and the garment industry. We are also providing stop-gap paid sewing or fabricating work during mass theatre, film, and entertainment shut down. Often this is focused on filling medical or public health needs but also working with other textile products to supplement paid work.
