2021 Call for Proposals
93rd Annual Meeting - American Association of Teachers of French
July 11-14, 2022 - Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans, Louisiana

“Laissez les bons temps rouler: Explorer la diversité du monde francophone.”

All submissions must be received by December 15, 2021. You will receive a screen confirmation of your proposal when you hit "Submit." This will be your acknowledgement. You will be notified via e-mail by February 15, 2022 if your proposal has been accepted. Please note that any proposal submitted in previous years needs to be resubmitted.

Proposals may be related to any area of language, literature, culture, pedagogy, or linguistics touching any area of the French-speaking world. Presentations may be given in French or English. Please use the language in which you are most comfortable. Give your title and abstract in the language of presentation.

Presentations are to be given as lectures or talks. Do not simply read a paper aloud. Audience interaction is strongly encouraged.

If you wish to organize a session with several presenters, each co-presenter should fill out this form and submit his or her own contact information and abstract (if applicable). The session organizer/moderator should submit an overall description listing the co-presenters. If the organizer is both presenting and moderating, he/she should submit an overall description as well as an individual description of his or her presentation. Please indicate clearly in the description which is the overall session proposal.

All rooms will be equipped with a video projector. However, you will need to bring your own laptop or other device.

Each participant may be the principal presenter only once. Preference will be given to proposals submitted by AATF members. Presenters must be 2022 AATF members to participate in the convention and must register for the convention to present. Any session that is presenting a commercial product or service must be scheduled as an exhibitor session. No exceptions.

Inquiries only: AATF President-Elect Eileen Walvoord, eileenwalvoord@gmail.com
