Application form for NES Artist Residency Short Stays for Artists
NES offers short residencies to solo artists or couples looking for two-week stays in Salthús Guesthouse. Salthús offers double rooms with private bathrooms, shared kitchen/laundry facilities, underfloor heating, and WiFi. Each double room contains a queen sized bed, desk, and casual seating. This accommodation is suitable for those who do not require more than desktop work space.   

While it is not always possible to supply short stay artists with a studio workspace, artists are still welcome to access communal areas of the shared Fjörubraut 8 studio to meet fellow residents, participate in our artist talk and open studio at the end of the month,  if they coincide with your stay. If we have space available in the studio or Research Library, we will offer it to you.

Application Guidelines:
Our main requirement is that your art practice suit the space, and therefore do not have a formal selection process for short stays. This form is the only component of the application.
