Applebee's and IHOP Virtual Tip Jar
Tens of thousands of Applebee’s and IHOP workers around the country face financial ruin in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and response. But so far Dine Brands (parent company of Applebee’s and IHOP) and franchises across the country have done very little to help its laid-off restaurant workers.

While many are socially isolating and the shutdown mean that we are not able to frequent these establishments like before, you can still help to support the staff at these establishments! Consider sending a "tip" to your favorite bartender, server, cook, dishwasher or host.

If you work for either of these restaurants (both FOH and BOH are encouraged!), put in your information on the next page. All of the information is self-reported and donors are encouraged to verify the accounts.

Hear from the workers themselves:
"Since my husband and I have been out of work, this crisis has really hit our family hard. Before, I had to pay my bills with the tips I made and now it's been harder because we aren't getting any money at all." Elizabeth Holt, Applebee's
"After years of great customer service as a server, I've found myself out of work and almost helpless at the outcome. I have two small children, 3 and 5. The state and government system has been flawed to say the least, and our own company we work hard for everyday puts no thought into whats happening with their employees: a paycheck, a gift, sick leave, something to help out.  We don't ask for much. We work hard for them and give it 100 percent. It's sad that we don't get the same." Mary, IHOP
