GYNECA, the Columbia Undergraduate Journal of Gynecology & Women's health, is seeking students and scholars who are interested in serving as peer reviewers for our upcoming issue. Ideal candidates are those who are currently enrolled in or have completed a doctoral-level program pertaining to the health sciences, global/public health, and or the sociomedical sciences.
What we expect/what is required:
- To read, review, and give feedback to 1 student research article (3-4 pages) written by an undergraduate research scientist
- We would like to work with your schedule, but hope to have your edits in 2-3 weeks from date it was sent to you
- While the timeline is still to be determined, you will receive the article you are reviewing with more details on the peer review process sometime in Spring 2023

ABOUT US: GYNECA primarily publishes Columbia undergraduates' peer-reviewed research in all fields of women's health and gynecology. The aim of GYNECA is to promote gender-based biology, address social determinants of health, and provide a voice for undergraduate and graduate students all while providing rapid authoritative, and insightful news and interpretation of topical and coming trends affecting science, scientists, and the wider public.
