I/We agree to the following;

I will encourage my child to abide by all the rules and procedures in effect at Galveston Academy. I will instruct my child to act respectfully towards the school staff and other students.

I will ensure my child attends school every day that he/she is physically able to do so. I will call the school before 8:30 a.m. on the days my child is absent.

I accept the responsibility of reading the handbook before attending the first day at Galveston Academy.

I will read the dress and appearance code. I will not purchase items for my child to wear to Galveston Academy that does not comply with the dress code. I will ensure that my child is in uniform before he/she leaves for school. I understand that my child will face disciplinary consequences on any day that my child is not in compliance with the dress and appearance code.

I will stress the importance of appropriate behavior at all times.

I will encourage my child to work to the best of his/her ability in all academic areas.
