PERFARE (2022-2025) is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Culture
Programme, which intends to enhance the cooperation between the cultural and
the welfare sector, by creating innovative models for artistic interventions
supporting people with physical or mental health issues.
The main aims of PERFARE are to facilitate the access to performing art
experiences for audience groups with health and social related issues and to
innovate the partner organisations' creative models in order to make
health&wellbeing services an integral part of their artistic work.
By filling in this form, you submit your proposal for the call to action for artistic
interventions to be implemented in Sweden, specifically for and with Culture for
Elderly, the Department of Cultur of Malmö, the Health, Care and Wellfare
Department of Malmö and elderly citizens living in retirement homes and AGREE
to be evaluated by the afore mentioned organizations and the international partnership.
TERM OF REFERENCES
The main aims of PERFARE are to facilitate the access to performing art experiences for audience groups with health and social related issues and to innovate the partner organisations' creative models in order to make health&wellbeing services an integral part of their artistic work.
To this end, Culture for the elderly, the Department of Culture, set up cooperation agreement with the Health, Care and Wellfare Department of Malmö to fund 1 pilot artistic interventions to test how perfoming arts can support people with physical and/or mental health conditions.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
The grant amount to fund the pilot artisitc intervention is 7.000€. The financial contribution is intended as a lump sum grant for the implementation of the activities proposed in the pilot artistic intervention.
Only ONE proposal per stakeholder involved will be selected.
Regarding to the payment conditions, a pre-financing of 80% will be granted to start the activities and the balance of 20% will be granted after presenting a Report of the activities implemented.
SELECTION PROCESS
Proposals will only be received via this form until 17th November 2023 h. 20.00 CET
1st phase:
A committee made up of Culture for Elderly and the Health, Care and Wellfare will
analyse all the proposals and select 2 finalists, which will be sent to the PERFARE partners.
2nd phase:
The selected artists will be presented to all the PERFARE partners
Final decision:
The final decision will be made by all PERFARE partners and communicated to the shortlisted artists.
TIMETABLE
- This application will remain open until 17th November 2023.
- The selection of the winning proposal will happen between DECEMBER 2023 and APRIL 2024.
- The winning proposal will be implemented between MAY 2024 and MAY 2025.
The winning proposal will be communicated directly to the selected applicant not later than 2 months prior the suggested date of implementation, and anyway not later than APRIL 2024.
