Thank you for taking the time to complete the pre application for 0-5 programming.  This is the first step of the process.  After completing this piece, a staff person will contact you to complete the rest of the application.  This pre-application is for Free Programs for expectant families through children preschool aged.  

Definition of Programs:
Early Head Start Home Based-this program is for families with pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age 3. Weekly home visits will support parents, both mothers and fathers, in their role as primary caregivers and teachers of their children.    

Early Head Start Center Based-this program is for families with infants and toddlers up to age 3.  This option is a classroom based option tailored to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers through safe and developmentally enriching caregiving.

Head Start-is a federally funded preschool program for children ages 3 and 4.  Most classrooms are 4 days a week and 7 hours a day.  In some locations a 4 hour option may be available.  Head Start focuses on the whole family and offers many supports  and resources for the family.  

GSRP-is a state funded preschool program for children that are 4 years old. The program is to encourage the development of children and prepare them for successful entry into Kindergarten using developmentally appropriate practices.
