Summer Chess: End Game Strategies 
In this week long camp, students are taught basic principles of the end game, with emphasis on the importance of promotion. Students are taught the importance of planning for the end game during middle game. The course will focus chiefly on rook and king end games, as these are the most common and will allow students to explore the basic principles of the end game. Chess is a game of immense beauty and skill that naturally allows for healthy competition and an appreciation for the life of the mind.

WHEN:  July 22-26 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
WHO:  Students Grades 1st-12th (minimum of 5 students)  
WHERE: Arma Dei Academy Main Campus - 341 E. Wildcat Reserve Parkway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126
ROOM: 3rd Grade Room (Winter) - Room 237
COST: $125 per student
