"MUSICOTERAPIA E NEURODESENVOLVIMENTO"
O XIII Encontro Internacional de Musicoterapia tem como tema “Musicoterapia e Multiculturalidade”. Frequentemente, as problemáticas do Neurodesenvolvimento podem levar a grandes limitações motoras, comunicacionais e sociais que afetam a funcionalidade e participação da pessoa na sua vida quotidiana. Através do envolvimento e participação musical, em contexto terapêutico, a musicoterapia promove o desenvolvimento significativo de competências funcionais que podem transferir-se para a vida quotidiana fora da sessão. Este encontro tem como objetivo promover vários momentos de partilha e discussão entre profissionais que trabalham com população com perturbações do Neurodesenvolvimento e que usam a Música como ferramenta de trabalho terapêutico, ou trabalham a par e passo com ela no sentido de promover mais saúde e qualidade de vida a estas pessoas e seus cuidadores."
Este Encontro realizar-se-á no Estádio Municipal Dr.Magalhães Pessoa, Leiria.

"MUSIC THERAPY AND NEURODEVELOPMENT"
"The XII International Meeting of Music Therapy has as its theme “Music Therapy and Neurodevelopment”. Neurodevelopmental issues can often lead to major motor, communicational, and social limitations that affect a person's functionality and participation in their daily lives. Through musical involvement and by participating in a therapeutic context, music therapy promotes significant development of functional skills that can be taken to the client's everyday life outside the session. This meeting aims to promote various moments of sharing and discussion among professionals who work with people with neurodevelopmental disorders and who use music as a therapeutic work tool, or work hand in hand with it, to promote more health and quality of life to these people and their caregivers."
This Meeting will be held at the Estádio Municipal Dr.Magalhães Pessoa, Leiria.
