Any medium(s) from the following: drawing, charcoal, color pencils, ink, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oil paints, etc. on suitable paper/canvas

AWARDS CEREMONY
The art show and awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 5, 2017, 3-6 pm, at Artistic Kreations (999 Mount Tabor Road , Second Floor, Morris Plains, NJ).

What is Mind Matters 2017?

NAMI NJ's SAMHAJ (South Asian Mental Health Awareness in Jersey) in partnership with Artistic Kreations is proud to present the first annual Mind Matters, an ages 7-18 art show and competition to encourage mental and emotional well-being.

Life can be a bumpy road at times: between family, friends, school, and more, life can get stressful or hectic. But we at SAMHAJ truly believe that art has the power to smooth out the bumps and remind us of the beauty and happiness life brings. We know many of you already use art to express yourselves, so we're hosting this art show and competition to bring all you artists together to show through your painting what you do to stay happy and love life.
