Volunteer as a rapporteur during the first EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum

Applicant specifications: Rapporteurs are typically university students and young professionals. Please note we do not accept anyone under the age of 21.

The world faces a fundamental challenge in sustainably feeding a healthy diet to at least nine billion people by 2050. To catalyse a transformative shift in the Asia-Pacific food system, EAT Foundation and the Indonesian Ministry of Health will host the inaugural EAT Asia-Pacific Food Forum in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 30th – 31st, 2017. The Forum will convene global leaders and key stakeholders across sectors and disciplines, to advance action, foster scientific collaborations, facilitate sharing of best practices and co-design solutions to address the region’s most pressing food-related challenges.

As a rapporteur during the Asia-Pacific Food Forum, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
● Being assigned to a Competence Forum (expert roundtable meeting) on a specific topic, and assisting the facilitator(s) and speaker(s) of the session as required
● Taking notes during the session
● Tidying / organising notes
● Writing a short summary
● Preparing an outcome document

Please note the positions are unpaid. We are unfortunately unable to cover any travel or accommodation expenses. You get to attend the Asia-Pacific Food Forum in exchange for your time.
