We are so excited to welcome you to kindergarten in the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted district, home of the Lakers!
Our HLWW kindergarten team, administration, and other Laker staff who support our kindergarten program will be ready to welcome you to school for Kindergarten Registration Night on February 9, 2026 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Humphrey Elementary. (Three 30-minute sessions are formally scheduled--5:30-6, 6-6:30 and 6:30-7 p.m., but please allow for approx 30-45 minutes of time together.)
During this kindergarten-focused experience, which is intended for your "rising kindergartner" and you, together you will be able to:
*Meet our kindergarten teachers and other Laker staff
*Visit classrooms and tour the school campus
*Ask questions about kindergarten, the learning opportunities, and the school day
*Capture a “Class of 2039” photo of your child
*Complete any remaining enrollment paperwork
*Meet future classmates and families
We ask that you complete this form as soon as possible to serve as an RSVP for the event, and to ensure you have access to the session time that works best for your family. (Each session will have a capped attendance.) Additionally, completing this form also helps school staff plan appropriately for staffing needs for the fall. Thank you for your quick and candid responses.
