Please fill out the form as completely and in as much detail as possible. Checks will not be made payable to individuals or government organizations. Funds must be written to a private organization. Please verify your organization can accept funds in the form of a check prior to making the request.
Some important items that ROSC considers in the request:- How will the money benefit the community?- What are the long-term benefits of this donation?- Has there been an effort to raise funds on their own?- How many people will benefit from this donation?- Will this donation represent the sole source of funding for an organization's operating budget?- Have funds been received from other organizations?
ROSC Welfare Committee typically meets the last Wednesday of every month (except June and December). Requests approved by the Welfare Committee are then presented to the ROSC Governing Board and sometimes ROSC General Membership for consideration. Your organization will be notified when a final decision has been reached and if a check is available to mail or pick up. The process can take more than 30 days to complete.
The deadlines for submission of requests for 2019 are January 15, February 12, March 12, April 12, May 10, July 12, August 12, September 12, October 11, and November 8.
