Hybrid Marsh-In Summer Camp 2023: APPLICATION
Hello Summer Camp Parents & Guardians,

We are so excited to welcome your campers back for another year of Marsh-In Summer Camp at the Don Edwards SF Bay NWR. This is the 44th year of free Summer Camp being offered to Bay Area youth entering Grades 1-6.

We do want to note some significant changes to the hybrid camp schedule this year. Due to construction taking place at the Environmental Education Center in Alviso, camp has been relocated to Refuge Headquarters in Fremont at 1 Marshlands Rd, Fremont, CA 94555.** We understand that this may pose a transportation challenge for some campers and will be providing transportation from Santa Clara County for the in-person camp days. Additional changes are listed below!

Parents and guardians, please fill out the information below for your campers applying for this year's summer camp program. Applications are due on June 9th and Summer Camp acceptances will be sent out by June 16th. Campers are chosen through a lottery system.

Annual Marsh-In Summer Camp: July 24th-28th.
Monday, July 24th - Virtual session via Zoom from 10:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday, July 25th - Self-guided, at-home activities and all materials will be provided to you in a camp kit!
Wednesday, July 26th - In-Person Camp day in Fremont from 10:00am-2:00pm
Thursday, July 27th - In-Person Camp day in Fremont from 10:00am-2:00pm
Friday, July 28th - In-Person Camp day in Fremont from 10:00am-2:00pm

Campers must attend all 4 sessions (one virtual & three in-person) sessions and participate in all days of camp (see below for more information).

Please reach out to summercamp@sfbayws.org if you have any questions.

Si necesita una versión en español del formulario, puede enviarnos un correo electrónico a summercamp@sfbayws.org y le enviaremos un formulario en español.

**As COVID-19 continues to be an ever-present concern in our communities, we are actively monitoring the situation and will place the safety of campers and their families first. If, for any reason, in-person sessions are not possible, we would host additional LIVE Zoom meetings and will keep parents and guardians updated as quickly as possible.
