ACCESS 2021 Summer STEM Enrichment Programs
We are pleased to offer our programs at no cost to students who reside in the Greater Bridgeport areas. If you decide to register your student(s) we ask that you please try to make a commitment to the attendance dates of the program.

FIRST Robotics and Art for Rising 2nd to 8th grades
Location: Housatonic Community College
Dates: July 6th to August 6th Time: 9am to 12:30pm
Breakfast Snack and Lunch Included
1. FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16* through fun, exciting hands-on learning. FIRST LEGO League participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together. In FIRST LEGO League, students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, building confidence, growing their knowledge and developing habits of learning. FIRST LEGO League’s three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

ACCESS Esports Team for rising 8th-12th-
Will meet Virtually and In-Person on Saturdays 2pm to 4pm
2. Join the Bport Gamerz Esports Team where students us video gaming as a platform to develop STEAM-based skills and social emotional attributes such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities needed to thrive in work and in life. Students will also explore the growing careers in the Gaming Industry and learn how you can earn Scholarships for College.

"Boss Up" Leadership Development- for rising 9th-12th grades
Location: Housatonic Community College
Dates: July 6th to July 16th
Time: 3pm to 5pm
3. Open to rising 9th-12th grades this program will meet in person and virtually.  Students will Co-Develop their learning and activities around various topics around Leadership Development, Community Service , Social Media, and Grit and Career Exploration in the fields of Engineering, Forensic Science, Digital Media, Gaming, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Physical Therapy, Law, Biosciences, and Education.  Participants will receive all materials and earn a stipend for their full participation.

 Space is limited to 25 students per program and admission is open at a first come first served basis
 Transportation is NOT provided
