Mac Basics - Bring a Friend Day Oct. 26, 2013
Our October MacLearn is going to be a Bring a Friend Day. This time it's for folks with an iMac or a Macbook computer. You register for both of you and pay our usual $3.
They come along for free! It's a good chance to bring a new person to a MacLearn to see what it's like and see if they'd like to come again! If you've never come before, grab another new person and split the cost!
9 - ll:30 In this session Ross Rasmussen will take you through navigation, file, Desktop and Dock management, setting your preferences, managing your apps, searching with Spotlight, and adding contacts. Let us know what you're wanting to learn and we'll work it in!

11:30 -12:30 Jerome Koehler will show you a bunch of useful apps for your Mac - we call this an Appalulu - cool apps in Honolulu!
Location: Capitol 360 Cafe 1958 Kalakaua Avenue at the intersection of Ala Moana Blvd. Please park in the Niu St. lot around the block if you can, otherwise you can park behind the cafe (enter Pau St.)
Cost: $3 for you, your guest is free.
Bring: Your Macbook - if you don't have one you can share one of ours. We will demonstrate using Mountain Lion but the core features will be similar even if Mavericks is released before then. Bring your charger, and charge up the night before.
