The University of Pikeville and the Kentucky Association of Social Work Educators (KASWE) invite proposals for the KASWE conference on September 25-26, 2025 on the beautiful campus of the University of Pikeville. The conference theme,  "Innovations and Margins: Exploring the Fringe of Social Work Education and Practice"  reflects both innovation and the exploration of less mainstream areas in social work, emphasizing that the conference is about pushing boundaries and focusing on the fringes of the field.  

*We strongly encourage interdisciplinary collaborations, student proposal submissions, and student/faculty collaborations.  

**All Proposals are due by August 1, 2025 by 5pm EST.  All completed proposals will be reviewed by a committee made up UPIKE Social Work faculty and scored using a rubric.  The lead presenter will be notified of the committee's decision by August 31, 2025.
