In our vibrant city, there are countless reasons to be grateful. Gratitude Powers DC, an initiative from the Innovation Team at the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), seeks to uncover the people, places, and things that those who live, work, and play in the District are grateful for. The effort informs a public art installation held at several library branches in summer 2024.
One component of Gratitude Powers DC is this gratitude survey. We will ask you to reflect on a day in your life in the nation’s capital and what you might be grateful for. At the end of the survey, you will also have an opportunity to show interest in sharing your stories of gratitude at public events this summer.
Anything you share in this gratitude survey will be kept anonymous - that is, we won’t tie your name (if you provide it) to anything you say. Your contact information (as well as the contact information of others you may provide in this survey) will be deleted at the end of the project. The survey is also completely voluntary and you can exit at any time. It should take you 20 minutes at most to complete.
