Academics for a People's Party
Let's build an impressive list of academic supporters for the coalition. Please visit, call or email professors at your alma mater or a college near you. Introduce yourself as a member of the grassroots Movement for a People’s Party and tell them that we are building a coalition for a major new progressive party - a party free of corporate money and rooted in Sanders' 2016 platform. Ask them:

1) If they support building a new progressive party.
2) If we can cite them as a supporter.
3) If they can refer us to other academics at their university or elsewhere who might support us.

Political science and sociology departments are the best places to start, but we welcome all academics to the coalition. You can also drop in during office hours or schedule an appointment. We’ve had great conversations every time we’ve dropped in. Asking for a reference to other academics is a quick way to hone in on supporters. You can go above and beyond by searching online for professors who’ve written in support of progressive third parties in the past and reaching out to them directly. Thank you for helping us crowd source the political revolution!
