On Saturday 4 November 2023 at 10am, Valleys Diehards will be holding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the clubhouse at 40 Bega Street, Grange. All members are encouraged to attend.
A report on the Club’s financial position for 2023 will be delivered by the Club Treasurer. The President’s and Secretary's reports will also be delivered.
At the AGM all committee roles become vacant and the new 2024 committee is elected.
Nominations for all Committee position close Saturday 21 October 2023. Nominations for Committee positions are open to all 2023 financial members and we highly encourage anyone interested in any of these roles to nominate. If you are unsure whether you have a financial membership, please contact our club executive via email diehards@valleysrugbyleague.com
The committee is responsible for the operations of the club all year round including game day operations as well as administrative requirements and strategic planning.
If you are unsure whether you can commit to being a committee person, we are also seeking interest for sub-committees/working groups which is another great way to help out the club.
We welcome any financial members with an interest in joining the committee to complete the application to be a committee or sub-committee member. No previous experience on a committee is necessary, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn about running a football club! All nominations must be supported by the endorsement of two current financial members. Proof of endorsement will be sought on receipt of application.
In the case that the number of nominations received is greater than the number of positions available, nominees for those roles will be notified and the positions be determined by ballot at the AGM.
