CSNO State Secretary
CSNO is pleased to announce the call for Candidates for the Term of State Secretary. The State Secretary is an Executive Board Position with a two-year term that begins July 1, 2022 and ends June 30, 2024. To be an eligible candidate you must be 1) a CSNO Member in Good Standing and 2) Possess the willingness to support your school nurse colleagues. The Secretary will be installed at the CSNO Business Meeting at the 72nd CSNO Conference held in Monterey on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Deadline to apply is November 30th, 2021.
Secretary responsibility includes:
6.07 The Secretary shall keep or cause to be kept, at the principal office or such other place as the Board may determine, a book of minutes of all meetings of the Board and its committees, with the time and place of holding, whether regular or special, and if special, how authorized, the notice thereof given, the names of those present at Board and committee meetings, and the proceedings thereof. The Secretary shall keep, or cause to be kept, at the principal office in the State of California, the original or a copy of CSNO's Articles and Bylaws, as amended to date.
The Secretary shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board.
The Secretary of this Corporation is authorized and directed to execute a certificate of adoption of the Bylaws, to enter said amendments to the Bylaws as so certified in the Minute Book of this Corporation, and to see that a copy of said amendments to Bylaws is kept at the principal executive or business office of this corporation in California in accordance with Section 5160 of the California Nonprofit Corporation Law.
The Secretary shall be elected in the even-numbered years and shall serve a two-year term.
