UCTM Blog Guest Post

The Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional organization of educators, individually and collectively dedicated to the improvement of classroom instruction in mathematics at all levels. Our mission is to provide leadership by:

Promoting interest in mathematics and its teaching in the state of Utah;
Improving the teaching of mathematics at all levels;
Maintaining a close liason with the Utah State Office of Education;
Representing the interest of mathematic teaching and mathematics teachers to the public;
Encouraging cooperation, pride, and fellowship in the profession of mathematics teaching.

All blog posts on the UCTM site should support this mission. If you would like to write a blog post not in line with the goals of the UCTM, we encourage you to do so on your own blog.

    Tips for Blogging about Teaching Math

    If you have never blogged about your teaching before you may want to check out some of the tips here: http://mathtwitterblogosphere.weebly.com/writing-a-blog.html We strongly encourage you to include at least one photo in each blog post. If photos contain pictures of students, send them to us we will edit them so that students faces are not recognizable.
