Avondale Arts Alliance - Volunteer Agreement
VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT AND CODE OF CONDUCT
Please read the following carefully before signing this form.

This Volunteer Agreement is a description of the arrangement between Avondale Arts Alliance and you (the volunteer) in relation to your voluntary work. The intention of this agreement is to assure you that we appreciate your efforts in volunteering with us and to indicate our commitment to do the best we can to make your experience with us a positive and rewarding one. The volunteer understands that the relationship with the Avondale Arts Alliance is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided by the volunteer.

1. INDUCTION AND TRAINING
We provide thorough induction on the work of Avondale Arts Alliance, the Avondale Arts Center, your volunteering role, and any training necessary to perform said role.

2. SUPERVISION, SUPPORT AND FLEXIBILITY
The Avondale Arts Alliance encourages volunteers to participate in our organization in a variety of roles that align with your skills, interests, and capabilities. The volunteer understands that the Avondale Arts Alliance remotely operates a camera system in the Avondale Arts Center for safety and monitoring purposes. The volunteer agrees to abide by any posted notices, guidelines, requirements, regulations, or rules put forth by the Avondale Arts Alliance.

3. EXPENSES
There will be no payments offered to volunteers unless prior approval is obtained from the Avondale Arts Alliance for expense reimbursement determined on a case-by-case basis.

4. WAIVER AND RELEASE
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS, Avondale Arts Alliance, their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity ("releases"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. INSURANCE
The volunteer understands and accepts that the Avondale Arts Alliance will not be purchasing any insurance coverage for the volunteer and the volunteer hereby expressly waives such claim for compensation or liability from the Avondale Arts Alliance and the Avondale Arts Center in the event of any medical or property damage expenses occurred.

6. PHOTOGRAPHIC/MEDIA RELEASE
I understand that while participating in this kind of activity or related activities I may be photographed. I understand and agree that the photograph(s) may be used in whole or in part, at any time, in composite or distorted form, in color or otherwise and may be displayed through any medium including, but not limited to printed medium, video or on the internet. By signing this waiver I authorize any initial and any subsequent disclosure or publication of the photograph(s) at any time.
The volunteer grants and conveys to the Avondale Arts Alliance all rights, titles and interests in any and all photographs, videos or audio recordings of the volunteer or any likeness made by the Avondale Arts Alliance while providing volunteer services.

7. TERMINATION
The volunteer service may be terminated by the Avondale Arts Alliance or the volunteer in a written notice.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY
All volunteers are required to exhibit discretion and must not divulge any confidential operational information meant for internal circulation to any person or sources outside of the Avondale Arts Alliance.

9. CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS

- Treat every individual with honesty, dignity and respect.

- Contribute to a cooperative and positive working environment.

- Be committed in your volunteering duties and responsibilities.

- Familiarize yourself with the organization, our programs, the Avondale Arts Center, and our community.

- Represent the Avondale Arts Alliance mission and culture accurately.

- Safeguard the building, furnishings, art supplies, and all artwork on display in the Avondale Arts Center.
