VizChitra (https://vizchitra.com), the Indian Data Visualization community, is organising its first conference this summer.

Date: 27th June 2025

Venue: Bangalore International Centre, Domlur, Bangalore

Deadline for applications: May 15, 2025

The scholarship:

With the support of Friends of VizChitra and sponsors we are able to offer full scholarships for 25 individuals to attend the conference on June 27, 2025. The scholarship is meant for people who would otherwise be unable to participate in data visualization spaces.

Applicants:

We recognize that diversity comes in many forms. Please consider your needs and apply accordingly.

The process:

Please fill out the form linked to below before May 15, 2025. The applications will be screened by a panel of 3 people from the VizChitra community based on motivation and barriers a candidate might face. Final decisions about acceptance will be made within a week of the application deadline, and will be communicated by email.

If you want to secure a spot for yourself at the conference, please consider buying a ticket here: https://hasgeek.com/VizChitra/2025. If your application gets selected, you will be able to cancel your purchased ticket with a full refund.

Please note that the scholarship doesn’t support travel, stay or workshop registrations.
