Hi! Thank you for your interest in vending with Frida Friday ATX.
In June, Frida Friday ATX marketplace will be held in Republic Square on FRIDAY, June 28th, 11am-2pm (*final hours do be determined).

About Frida Friday ATX:
Frida Friday ATX is a movement for gender and economic justice. We do this by creating local marketplaces and cultural spaces that promote and connect WOC while creating spaces that are culturally rich and diverse. Our goals are to create marketplaces that center, amplify and connect WoC artisans & their communities, AND to grow WoC-led economies. We do this work to help bridge the wage gap that WoC experience, and because we believe our communities deserve to be seen and celebrated.

A few things to keep in mind:
— We aim to have only a few spaces open PER MEDIUM, so please keep this in mind when applying. If you make jewelry for the event, you will be considered applying in the jewelry category. We are working hard to create a space that amplifies and supports WOC artisans in this community and appreciate your engagement in doing this!
—Please note, we do NOT accept any resale (ie. no multi-level marketing companies. ***also with the exception of vintage and select fair trade*** ), as this market is intended to really promote handmade artisans. We support local HANDMADE artisans who are present to sell their own wares. * Please contact us if you are interested in vending handmade, resale products for booth pricing and accommodations, when we make exceptions for these categories we do have a pricing grid we use.
— To ensure successful marketplaces, we ask that all artists' involved share and promote this event to ensure the widest range of attendees.
— Once you have completed your application, please email 2-3 images of your work (including a sample of what you may be creating for the event), to fridafridayatx@gmail.com, SUBJECT LINE: "FFATX JUNE: VIERNES EN LA PLAZA." Applications received without images will automatically not be accepted. Please make sure to send high quality images if you'd like to be promoted across our platforms.

Load in is one hour prior to event and everyone should be ready to vend 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the event.
Anyone arriving past 15 minutes prior to the event (without prior agreements) will not be allowed to set up. Your payment will NOT be refunded or credited for inability to set up due to late arrival. Breakdown is at the end of the event time, no earlier - I cannot stress enough how important this is. If you choose to break down prior to end of event, we cannot have you back. Thank you for understanding!
