This meeting provides opportunities to learn and discuss the recent progress of drugs, physics, and clinical applications in photodynamic therapy (PDT) through the JSPS-DAAD Bilateral Collaboration (JPJSBP120253503). In particular, we focus on effects of oxygen and light irradiation on therapeutic efficacy. This meeting should be beneficial for all the researchers involved in PDT.
