Empowered Campus - Website
If you are willing to, we would like to hear a little bit about what happened. Please don't feel any pressure to write in full sentences or in any way that adds additional stress. You are also welcome to continue this survey and NOT fill in this section - this is your story, and you are under no pressure to share this information. In addition to this task feeling 'too big', please also don't feel your story is 'too little' or insignificant. Every story shared helps us build a picture of what is happening on your campus and across Britain. We really appreciate you taking the time to consider this.

Which university was this in connection to?
Did you tell your university about what happened? There is no right answer, lots of people don't tell anyone about experiencing harassment or abuse
If you answered yes -What was your experience after the university become aware? If you felt supported, how did they make that happen? If you had a bad experience, we'd like to hear what happened and what went wrong.
If you answered no - Most survivors don't tell their universities, so we want a better understanding of how we can make it easier for survivors to get support. If you have any specific ideas of what the university could have done differently to make reaching out easier for survivors and victims, please list them here. If you felt any barriers to get help, we would like to hear them.
If you have anything else you'd like to share about your experience or how universities can do better in this space, please share them below
We are so grateful to everyone who shares their story. By submitting your story, you give the gift of administrations being able to understand the scale of the problem better - and other survivors knowing they're not alone. We assume if you're sharing your story here that we can use it anonymously without identifying your name - however, we may want to be in touch with you to see if we can together work to change the story for future students and staff. If you're happy for us to be in contact with you about your story, please give the following details. Please note - this is not giving us permission to share your name or contact details outside of the Empowered Campus team, we will never do that without explicitly checking your consent each time.
What is your name? (You don't have to share this information, and we won't share it with anyone else)
What is your email address? (You don't have to share this information, and we won't share it with anyone else)
Thank you! Your experience is counted, believed and will build a better understanding of how universities can improve
