2024 Food Cart Pilot Program 

The Food Cart Pilot Program will begin Monday, August 19, 2024. This pilot program will give vendors the opportunity to utilize public sites throughout the City of Boston. 

Note: In order to secure a site location, you must have all of the required documents to vend in the City of Boston:   

  • Health Permit 
  • Fire Permit 
  • Hawker and Peddler 
  • Business Certificate 
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance 
  • Business Plan 
  • Commissary Letter

Food Cart Procedure 
We will award our public sites through our sign up sheet. Sites are kept throughout the year, unless they are dropped. New vendors will be awarded sites based on availability.
