Local club information:JF Fencing can offer Kristin students classes for beginners and advanced fencers in Year 3-13 on Saturday mornings throughout Terms 1-4 in the Roy Munn Gymnasium. There is also a Thursday evening class from 6.30 - 8.30pm. ( please note fencers need to fence at least for a year and have their own electric gear to attend this class)

SECONDARY SCHOOLS Team TrainingAs with any sporting code, all students competing for Kristin School at the AKSS or NZSS competitions are expected to attend training sessions at Kristin School. These sessions are for the Kristin teams regardless of club affiliation. These will allow team members to develop team ethics and communication.Specific dates and times are TBC
NOTE:All Kristin students and families involved in fencing must complete a registration form as this clearly outlines our shared sporting code of conduct.
EQUIPMENT:Every fencer is required to purchase their own gloves.Female fencers are required to purchase their own chest protector.Kristin Fencing Club provides Jackets, Masks and Visual Foils.Note: Fencers who are planning to compete are required to purchase their own equipment. Updated costs and requirements can be discussed with Judit Fliszar ( Head of fencing , Head Coach).Kristin branded sports bags are available at $45.00 each. Please contact Judit (limited number available in 2018)
Kristin has introduced the new track suits from 2018. Students should be wearing these when traveling as a team or at events when competition gear is not required to be worn.
Commitment to SportAll students who wish to play sport at Kristin are required to fully commit to the teams they play and full attendance at trainings and/games is expected. As part of the registration process all players will be required to sign the relevant registration form, which outlines the commitment expectations for the season. Failure to uphold this agreement may result in players being stood down from games or removed from the team.
