Thank you for your interest in taking the Colorado Employment First Speakers Bureau training to become a speaker!
The Colorado Employment First Speakers Bureau, originally funded by a grant from the Creative Ideas Fund serving Denver area residents, was created by people with disabilities for people with disabilities.
The Flicker training program, developed by Ty Smith, equips people with disabilities to be the subject matter experts of their own employment journey. It was built by people with lived experience for people with lived experience. Trainees are professionally instructed to safely share their experiences and effectively educate others about the Employment First movement.
We are working to secure funding to host our next training. We are currently asking people who are interested to submit this expression of interest to guide our efforts. You answers in this form will not prevent you from accessing the training. Once the date of our next training is determined, we will notify you how to sign up!
