The Attention Decadence Disorder (ADD) Self-Assessment is a diagnostic tool designed to help individuals evaluate the extent to which they may be experiencing symptoms of ADD. This tool is meant for personal use and does not collect any identifiable information.
You will rate how strongly you agree or disagree with 36 statements evenly divided across three main categories:
- Attention Dysregulation and Digital Dependence
- Cognitive Processing and Information Management
- Value Perception and Decision-Making
For the purposes of this survey, the following terms are defined as follows:
- Digital Device includes smartphones, tablets, and computers.
- Digital Content includes text, sound, image, and video content (including but not limited to online articles, podcasts, music, videos, social media posts), which may be consumed through digital devices as well as larger displays and home speakers.
36-72: Low likelihood of ADD
73-108: Mild symptoms of ADD
109-144: Moderate symptoms of ADD
145-180: High likelihood of severe ADD
