Hiring experienced law enforcement officers for our schools
This survey is designed to gauge the support, in principle, of hiring armed law enforcement officers in our public schools as just one component of improved safety measures for our children. "In principle" since it is impossible to fully support something like this without implementation details, which the school district has not provided (and probably won't unless enough interest is shown). Note that this is NOT meant to be a scientific study of the issue, but rather to get an approximate idea of whether there is support for this from more than just a fringe minority.

To be clear, the narrow focus of this survey does not imply that other safety measures that the district should also implement, such as improved social-emotional curriculum, improved counseling services, single point of entry, etc., are not equally or more important than hiring armed law enforcement officers, but since most other measures would be less controversial, a survey is not necessary to gauge support.
