2025 West Asheville Tailgate Market Sponsorship Application

Your presence with WATM will communicate to customers that you share our commitment to the local food movement, increased access to healthy foods, and neighbor made goods. Furthermore, placing your business in a bustling, community-oriented setting will provide a fresh opportunity to promote your products and services to our 17,000 annual shoppers.

Your support will enable a fun, connected, and safe shopping environment. It will help keep vendor fees low for farmers, cover necessary operating costs for the market, and underwrite the distribution of ‘WATM Bucks’-- a type of market money that is thoughtfully distributed to those in need throughout the year. Most of all, your contribution helps to foster a strong, compassionate, and healthy West Asheville community.

For Presenting and Supporting Sponsor: Please list the type of product/activity you intend to promote. Handouts of fliers, brochures, etc. and free promotional items are permitted (and encouraged) as are free giveaways/sign ups to win. Selling T­-shirts, tote bags, or other non­food items are acceptable upon review by the market staff.  Political campaigning of any kind is not permitted.
For Presenting and Supporting Sponsor: Please list ALL days you would like to table at the market (Presenting - 3 days, Supporting - 1 day). We will contact you to confirm and finalize arrangements. The Market Coordinator will work to secure an alternate date if space isn't available on the date(s) selected. The market will provide a 6 foot table and 2 chairs.  The market may have a tent, but not guaranteed.  Please bring your own tent, or contact the Market Director if you do not have one.

Upon acceptance, please provide a logo electronically, so we can start spreading the word about your participation by adding your business to our website!  The social media posts are to be created by the sponsor and sent electronically to the Market Director.  If the sponsor prefers, the Market Director will produce generic 'appreciation' promotional posts.  Submitted posts will be approved by the Market Director and posted within one week of your request.
