Tour de Hives 2016 - Host & Volunteer Application
Tour de Hives will be held on Saturday & Sunday, June 25-26, 2016, from 12:00-4:00 PM each day.

If you would like to "Host" and have your apiary featured as a location on the tour, please fill out the form below. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to "Assist" a host at one of the tour stops. After submitting your location you will be contacted by a member of our team to schedule an on-site visit.

Saturday, June 25, will feature locations in N & NE Portland.
Sunday, June 26, will feature locations in SE Portland.

We are considering including SW Portland on Sunday too, but this will depend on how many locations sign up in SW. If you do not have an apiary in N, NE, or SE Portland and would like to be featured on the tour, feel free to still submit your site and if we get enough in your area we will expand the range. Otherwise, please consider volunteering as an assistant.

Booklet Description
We would like to collect descriptions for the booklet early this year. If you aren't quite sure what to write, just write a brief description and we'll help you dress it up.

Example from 2015:
Faloma Farm is a small, 1 acre, property in Portland. The plums and pears may not be ripe yet but you are welcome to try the raspberries. We have Top bar hives, Langstroth hives, homemade and purchased hives, we have lots of happy hives. We have been keeping bees for several years, last year we put up a (living) roof over some of the hives to help keep them dry. Please come out and visit, have a cookie or lemonade and wander around. Check out the wildflower beds, sit, enjoy the summer breeze and chat about the honey bees.
