SEARAC Community Feedback Form: Government Shutdown
The federal government shut down at midnight on Sept. 30, 2025 after Congress and the White House failed to reach a bipartisan agreement to keep the government open and funded. As a result, countless individuals and families are left vulnerable to further harm and instability, including our Southeast Asian American communities who already face systemic barriers.

As SEARAC monitors this situation and engages with electeds, we want to hear from you: how is this government shutdown impacting you, your families, your organization, your communities?
