After this week of mission, your heart will be changed, not just your sense of gratitude and blessing. Our mission in Tijuana is to work in solidarity with Mexican families and Esperanza International ( to provide a roof over their head and a place to call home.

The goal of this trip is to work for the common dream of providing sustainable, dignified housing for all people across international borders. Spanish speaking skills are helpful, but not necessary.

This is the call to mission in Los Angeles this spring break. This is what we like to call the Urban Plunge. Missionaries will be living at the St. Vincent de Paul during the week in neighboring housing. You will be serving the homeless throughout Los Angeles at various locations including: St. Vincent de Paul's Cardinal Manning Center, Catholic Worker's Hippie Kitchen, Downtown Women's Center, Habitat for Humanity, Para los Ninos, and Homeboy Industry.
