Halifax Curling Club Book Launch
The Halifax Curling Club will host a book launch of Arthur McCalla's historical piece "On Life's Slippery Rink: 200 Years of the Halifax Curling Club".  This 230 page piece takes readers on a profusely illustrated tour through the rich history of the Halifax Curling Club. Founded in 1824 and in continuous operation for 200 years, the HCC is the fourth oldest curling club in Canada, the oldest club of any kind in Nova Scotia, and one of the oldest institutions in Halifax. The story told in its pages is the story of a club, of a sport, and of a city.
